Idaho HB 666

Removes exemptions for schools, public libraries, universities, and museums from statute prohibiting the distribution of harmful materials to children.

Indiana SB 17

Removes schools and certain public libraries from the list of entities eligible for a specified defense to criminal prosecutions alleging: (1) the dissemination of material harmful to minors; or (2) a performance harmful to minors.

Iowa HB 2176

Creating a criminal penalty for public or school librarians for distributing obscene materials to minors.

Oklahoma SB 1142

Prohibiting certain schools and libraries from maintaining or promoting certain books.

South Dakota House Bill 1337:

Prohibits public schools from including teaching materials that promote "a divisive concept."

Tennessee House Bill 1944:

Prohibits public schools from providing "obscene materials or materials harmful to minors" to students in school libraries.

Tennessee House Bill 800:

Prohibits public schools from including books in instructional materials that "promote, normalize, support, or address lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, or transgender (LGBT) issues or lifestyles."

H.B. 374 Utah Law on Sensitive Materials in Schools

This bill prohibits certain "sensitive instructional materials" in public schools.
