- Introduction must clearly identify the subject of the paper, the mental health disorder and a statement as to how/why the essay will allow the reader to be able to destigmatize a mental health disorder
- Body of the paper must clearly identify research into its causes, symptoms and treatments, as well as details on the personal story.
- Conclusion must address the significance of the story told, urge others to destigmatize, and explain how your work has influenced yOU
- Paper must be 6-7 pages for Honors, 4-5 for College
- Paper must have parenthetical citations, MLA format, to receive a passing grade.
- Citing an *encyclopedia or Wikipedia or using AI will result in a failing grade for the assignment
- Paper must have an annotated Works Cited in MLA format. Honors must use a minimum of 8 sources. College must use a minimum of 5 sources. More are encouraged.
- Paper must be checked carefully for spelling, grammatical, capitalization and punctuation. After THREE mistakes of any of the above, your grade will be no higher than C+
- Paper must have clear transitions from one paragraph to the next
- Paper must include details, quotations, passages, etc. from the interview(s).
